Susanne Ellen Rosas

Susanne Ellen Rosas peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 19, 1956, she was the eldest of three children, beloved daughter to the late Nancy Ellen Walsh and Charles Royal Walsh, and is survived by her sisters, Diana Judd and Janet Heidrich. Sue shared a lifelong, loving bond with her husband and teenage sweetheart, Jesus Rosas, whom she married 47 years ago. Together, they built a beautiful life over 51 years, raising three children: Angela (Ryan), Monica (Stephen), and David (Brittany). She was also the proud and devoted Nana to five grandchildren: Madeleine (15), Leila (11), Savannah (7), Jacob (7), and Lucas (4). Sue found great joy in her home, especially when tending to her garden alongside Jesus. Her love for gardening reflected her nurturing spirit, and she was equally passionate about reading, with cozy mystery novels being among her favorites. Her presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren was immeasurable. Sue was there for every milestone, every family celebration, every sports game, and every evening spent around the kitchen table, playing games and sharing stories. Her love and support were constants in their lives, and her unwavering dedication to family created countless cherished memories. As a wife, mother, and Nana, Sue’s life was marked by integrity, strength, and an enduring sense of grace. She approached every challenge with courage, and her values were steadfast, never wavering, even in her final days. Sue's love and her example will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her legacy of kindness, honesty, and strength will forever remain in our hearts. A memorial service will be held 11am on Friday August 1, 2025 at Murray Family Funeral Chapel (4147 Rocklin Road Rocklin, CA). Burial will follow at Newcastle Cemetery (850 Taylor Road Newcastle, CA). The family will receive friends at their home following the Burial. We think about you often, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.
